General Terms and Conditions:

  • ALHATTAB USED AUTO SPARE PARTS TRADING (F.Z.E)” maintains the https://www.alhattabauto.com/ Website (“Site”).
  • Any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
  • Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED will be accepted for payment.
  • The displayed price and currency at the checkout page, will be the same price and currency printed on the Transaction Receipt and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card currency.
  • We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries
  • Customer using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.
  • User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.
  • Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and also of the relevant T&C section in https://www.alhattabauto.com/ policies and rules.

Payment & Warranty Terms

Payment Methods:

·       Payments can be made via cash or card only.

·       Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 48 hours of receipt.

·       Cheques are not accepted.

·       Payment is due at the time of delivery.

·       For Garages, orders above AED 3,000 require 100% advance payment.

·       For End Users, 100% advance payment is required regardless of order value.

 Warranty Policy:

  • Warranty applies only to mechanical and electrical parts and covers replacement.
  • No warranty applies to body parts. Please inspect body parts upon delivery; replacements will be provided only if damage is identified at that time.
  • Warranty stickers must be intact on each item. The warranty will be void if the sticker is broken or removed.
  • Issues found after the warranty period will not be accepted.
  • Parts will not be provided for testing purposes. Replacements will be issued only if the part is defective.
  • All used engines supplied are idle engines. Compression may not be visible and is not grounds for return or refund.
  • Order Confirmation & Cancellation:
  • Once a price is confirmed, it is final.
  • All invoices are subject to 5% VAT.
  • Order cancellations after confirmation are not permitted. Any cancellation will be considered a violation of our terms and conditions, resulting in account suspension from future inquiries.

Delivery Policy:

  • We deliver our Products to all Countries and mainly UAE. Shipping will be done either by own staff or by a third-party courier depending on the location.
  • Delivery within UAE cities shall be in 1 – 3 working days and from 4 to 21 working days to Other Countries. Delivery Fees will be mentioned on the checkout page (or would be communicated prior to the customer via email or via WhatsApp chat message clearly before payment is done) depending on the country and location. Avoid any delivery delay by providing your full address along with your contact details. 

 

Return Policy:

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • New Parts: Unopened and undamaged new auto parts can be returned within 7 days of delivery.
  • Used Parts: Used parts are generally non-returnable and are sold “as is,” unless they are received with a manufacturing defect or do not match the order.
  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, notify us within 3 days of delivery for eligibility.

2. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be in their original condition, unused, uninstalled, and with all original packaging, labels, and accessories intact.
  • Returns must be accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.
  • For defective items, a technical report from a certified garage describing the defect is required.
  • Electrical parts and consumables (e.g., brake pads, filters) are non-refundable once opened or installed.

3. Return Process

  • Initiate Return: Contact our customer service within the specified period via [insert contact methods: phone, email, or website form]. Provide your order number, reason for return, and supporting documents (e.g., technical report if applicable).
  • Approval: All returns require prior approval. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
  • Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Inspection: Returned items will be inspected upon receipt. Items not meeting return conditions will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.

4. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method after inspection and approval.
  • Allow 7–14 business days for processing after the return is received and approved.
  • Deductions may apply for:
    • Missing parts or damaged packaging.
  • Restocking fees (up to 20% or a minimum of AED [insert amount]) for items returned without valid reason or outside the return window4.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • Refunds are subject to management approval.
  • For card payments, refunds will be processed after deducting POS charges.
  • Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depends on the issuing bank of the credit card. 

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Used parts (unless defective on arrival).
  • Electrical components once opened.
  • Items installed, used, or damaged after delivery.
  • Items returned without original packaging, labels, or documentation.

6. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are not supported. Please return the item for a refund and place a new order if needed.

7. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled before shipping. If cancelled after dispatch, return procedures apply and a cancellation fee may be charged.

8. Industry-Specific Considerations

  • Compatibility: Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility before purchase. Returns due to compatibility issues may incur restocking fees and are only accepted if the item is unused and in original packaging.
  • Inspection Reports: For returns of defective items, a technical report from a certified garage is mandatory to process the return and refund.
